The ammonites collected in the fossiliferous upper Pliensbachian layers of the area of St Amand-Montrond (Cher), France, are divided into six families. Fauna is largely dominated by Amaltheidae, followed by Juraphyllitidae, Liparoceratdiae, Lytoceratidae, Hildoceratidae and finally Dactylioceratidae.
